Hello My Name is Sonya Henderson and I teach 5th grade. I went to Azusa Pacific
University where I earned a B.A. Degree in Liberal Studies. I began teaching second grade at Shephered of the Valley Lutheran School in 2001. In 2008 I decided to return to school, while continuing to teach second grade. In 2010, I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Before I came to First Pres. Prep. I taught first and second grade at Muse School and Fourth grade at West Valley Christian. I
am enjoying my job this year and look forward to a very long career at First Pres.School. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, friends and, watching movies ( superhero/ drama). I also am super passionate about running, working out and, sewing. Thank you for taking time to learn a little bit more about me.
